General trends I notice in my own video tastes: High signal-to-noise ratio, funny but not over the top. Generally educational. I like the technical details, which many seem to gloss over. Maker stuff, vehicles, electronics, other projects.
Consistent clickbait, all-caps titles, "wow" faces in thumbnails, etc. usually earns a spot on my blacklist.
